    Gti & RNS510

    Hey all quick question,

Got a mate about to sign for a GTi and wants to know if the RNS510 fully integrates with the MFD plus like it does in the golf showing song names and turn by turn for GPS.

    Thanks.
    Stoney!

Yes it will, but VCDS coding is required first.

The audio menu, bt and mdi will work right out of the bat, but the nav menu may not appear until you add nav to the installed list in the cars controller.

    Hi guys,

Does anyone have any info on how to do this with VCDS? I've just installed the RNS510 to go with the 9WZ bluetooth but it's not registering on the MFD. I have the Bluetooth menu on the MFD (which was working before with the RCD310), but now I don't have either audio or navigation. Telephone and Radio were already ticked in the CAN gateway as installed and I've ticked Navigation but no joy, and my googling isn't turning up anything useful either

Also, slightly off-topic, but how do you set the DVD region? I went to Adaptation and changed value 130 from 2 to 4 but it still won't play region 4 DVDs

Going off the top of my head at the moment. But in either the Radio or Nav sections (they're the same) check to make sure BAP communication is enabled and shortpress steering wheel.
