In all honesty, if you have been running an engine for 3-4 days (or even 10 hours) with foreign body contamination and it has not been trapped by the filter, changing the oil is going to do very little. Whatever damage the foreign bodies were going to do have already been done. After all, the only part of the engine that would be exposed to any foreign material is the oil pump, and it will have been churning through the stuff for 3-4 days anyway. Hopefully it will have delivered the bodies to the filter where they will have become trapped and rendered harmless and would not be revealed when the oil was dropped.
If it gives you some peace of mind, then by all means change it. It is unlikely it would make any difference at all.
