Are you using two feet to operate the pedals? If use the brake and accelerator at same time it cuts power.

Yeah don't use the handbrake, don't left foot brake, both just confuse the poor gearbox.

Sounds like you're getting false neutrals. I will sometimes do fast launches with left foot on brake and right on accelerator, I'm sure that I'm not releasing the brake 100% before hitting the gas and mine doesn't freak out like that, it should only cut power temporarily. I'm guessing to fix it you have to reapply the brake and either move the gear lever out of d or put it completely in park and turn the car off...?

If you brake first then apply accelerator then it is ok.

It is only if you are on the accelerator and then press the brake it cuts out.

Basically it is a safety feature, if the fly by wire fails and goes to open throttle. the brake overrides the throttle.

Don't think that if you have been using this same driving style for 2 years and it's only just started doing it, that it's driving style related.....
