blinker fluid I'm pretty sure
Hi Guys
Just wondering if anyone knows what the green lidded bottle is in the engine bay? If your looking back at the car it would be on your right hand side behind the headlight. I can't find any mention of it in the manual.

Don't we have Electric power steering? (not sure if that still requires fluid?)
The polo has electro-hydraulic steering. So there's still hydraulic fluid but it's pumped by an electric pump rather than one hanging off the engine belt.

It's power steering fluid and you should never need to open it, it is one of the "filled for life" fluids in the polo like the Coolant and dsg gear oil.

Cool, thanks for the info
Always pays to check the dipstick under the cap after delivery as mine was way below minimum. Caused steering issues such as veering and problems with RH corners. Once topped up all was well.
