    Gavs,

Do you have a picture of a White GTI with Black Denvers?

I've been quoted around $650 to have all of them sprayed with a 1 year warranty. This is less than the $200+ per wheel I was expecting.

    Thanks ATYPIC.

I quite like the look of that.

Maybe powder coated is a better way to go than gloss black.. My only gripe with matte black rims is if I don't wash the car for a couple of weeks it'll look the same!

I've currently got matte black wheels (not denvers) but I'm selling them and changing to satin black. Why you might ask?

Well...immediately after a good wash the matte wheels actually look like a nice subtle satin and honestly looks much better than the matte especially after it begins to attracts dust.

    Ask and you shall receive....

Charcoal on the other hand (actually the colour is pepper grey metallic, a factory polo colour...)

Notice how the grey catches the light and still has some shape definition of the wheel? The black however just looks like a big, black blob with a hint of red behind it. It makes the car look like it has no wheels because the spokes of the wheel are not detailed enough to catch any light in black.

You posted before I could do it seems that you have your heart set on black Denver's so go with it. You can make the decision after a couple of weeks of owning them...

    gavs,

I'm definitely loving the look of the charcoal grey..

You're right about the black being a bit of a blob with no shape or definition.

I like the look of these, would look nice against a white Polo imo. They look to be Satin not Matt as advertised though
