So I got the car back last week after the engine replacement, noticed that in the coolant reservoir the coolant liquid is clear?the last I checked G12s are red ... this one has a slight gooey texture and a little gold/yellow/clear piss colour (and the usual coolant smell) to it...
Haven't called up the service advisor yet but am popping in later today to get an oil filter + checking a louder than usual injector tick from inside the car
Anyone? $5 says they're being cheap and just put distilled water after flushing the system out when they replaced the engine...

I'm not a mechanic but I'm comfortably sure that I could avoid putting something other than coolant into the coolant reservoir...
Just got back from the usual, was told it's normal and there's 9L of coolant and bla bla bla concentrate bla bla bla ... nothing that I don't know about... he knows what he's talking about, but I'm just not sure how bothered he is on rectifying it or even going a few lengths to find out why...
The mind boggles.
