    Just so I'm not preaching the "disc don't warp" message:

    Doesn't mean this standard discs aren't crap, though I'd be leaning towards pads being equally crap causing your grief.

    I am a believer that warped rotors is not very common at all, and usually something else is at play.
    I had ECB pads which deposited material on the rotors and made it shudder. I had to remove and lightly sand the rotors to clean it up and they were fine a gain for 20,000km or so. Also found a rotor was not seated very well after a tyre rotation, the little screw had broken off. The back of the rotor had a bit of rust too, so a clean out and some light grease fixed that for many km too.
    The bmc pads eventually failed, came off the backing plate and had to be replaced, under warranty too after 6 years.

    If your brakes are fading then maybe some slotted or cross drilled rotors would help, also change the brake fluid more often as once the fluid heats up it looses it efficiency.
    I too would recommend GSL Rallysport/Brakes Direct, tell them your issues and I'm sure they will have a recommended pad and rotor combo suited to the hills.

    I thought my car was abnormal warping at 60,000km.. Or I was braking too hard.

    Sort of good to see other people have this issue.

    Sort of a bummer though cause I still have 75% of my pads left on the front, and if i get the rotors machined I'll have to do the pads too

    I read somewhere that you should not use the hand brake when parking the car after a hard brake use as it could cause the rotors to warp

    It's usually the front ones that warp, not many manufacturers have parking brake acting on the front wheels.

    You are correct, though the chances of getting them hot enough on the street then stopping immediately is unlikely. The issue is pad compound transfer to rotors. I've had that issue after track sessions resulting in a clear pad imprint to the rear rotor. For street driving, it's much less unlikely unless it's a mountain run or something.
