That's exactly what mine did. It would usually slip after about 45mins of driving, second gear and up an incline. It's most likely your clutches. Considering your car is still within warranty and the issue is fairly easy to replicate, you shouldn't have much of an issue convincing the dealership to replace them. Just take it to them after you've been driving it for a while and it's most prominent.

I simply told the dealer "It feels like the clutches are slipping".

They inspected and found it was out of spec, now at 36000km.

First change happened around a year ago at 18000km - in 2012...

Gavs has stated that there were no new specs on the clutches since 2010, so I don't know why people are under the impression the clutches were improved in 2012?

It looks like it will be a recurring problem. I wonder how much it will cost to replace next time, when out of warranty?

Exactly, the revision status on the clutches (unless it's changed in the last 4-5 months) has not changed since 2010, as far as I am aware, it's still at revision C. What has changed however is the software revisions.

And FYI there is a new clutch design starting 2012. This is straight from the TPI on ErWin:

Notice the different part numbers between the years.

I would like to say though, just becuase there is a different part number doesn't meen the clutch material has been changed which could be what Gavs is talking about

    Interesting.

But my first clutch change was almost exactly a year ago, so presumably I should have had the new design.

    Didn't last any longer!
