Angry Don't hit a car door when your wearing a work uniform...

See I was on my RDO today shopping, was walking to my car and saw a guy in a whitish shirt...he opened his door and i heard a clunk sound so he continued to get into his car and turn it on.

I ran behind his car and stood there, he got out and lord and behold a VW logo on his chest had a heated argument and informed him i witnessed his disgraceful act and would speak with his boss (funny thing is...he was driving either a service car or customer car.)

Long story short some stupid moron at VW is now paying for my door shell to be resprayed.

    Thank you

I'm sure i cannot reveal the dealership but i can give you a location whereabouts (North Sydney location service member).

Funny how the mechanics/engineers are the only honest bunch at VW where as the office bums are the offenders.

And worse for him is that i have my car serviced there, uh oh guess his boss will need to pay out two cars for repair (mine and the service/possibly a customers car).

There are people like that in all professions, some people just don't respect others peoples cars. All the unfortunate events aside, it sounds like the dealership has stepped up and is looking after you. Just lucky you weren't 5 minutes later to get back to your car.

HAHA same as me mate but Maqaurie centre fills up pretty quickly, but i love a good walk and just tell them to enjoy an extra few meters of cardiovascular workout (not quite haha).

The_Hawk, well reason i came to such generalisation/conclusion is once i had a rattle in the engine bay the mechanic said yeah sure we will fix it, we returned and the service consultant dared to question his colleague and go "Are you sure? maybe i should go and test it out"...people like that make me think *what a wan*er*

Due to the fact i can't find a photo of this muppet i found a close look a like:

His face is that obvious if you see him when plonking your car into a service tell him "No lunch runs" or "don't hit my door"

lucky someone was looking out for you and things happened such that you got to your car just as it was happening.

there are too many true orseholes out there who think "well, i dont wash, protect, service or generally give a crap about my car, so i dont see why you should?"...

you confronted the guy? I'm always worried the person would take out their anger by further damaging my car

and then it changes from being accidental damage to criminal property damage.
