Wow can DNA do the 77?? I didn't think the protocols were out yet for the 77 to be able to communicate with it from Alientech etc etc.

Just ask Hail, I'm almost 100% sure he has almost maxed out his 77 TSI. That guy is insane.

    Greg,

it depends which Siemens platform the ECU is running. The Simos v10.2 is the problem, I understand those with the v10.1 are no drama for DNA. John may well chip in to correct/confirm.

The Alientech units can't flash the 77. John does it with a laptop program + cable. He has sent this combo interstate to flash customer's cars when needed.

It's great that we have such a wide variety of sources for remaps, each with great but differing service.

    As for 77 remap, http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...tml#post636216

Had an ABT tune but had it reverted back to stock as i wasn't happy.

Guinea pigs be careful and research vigurously!

I'm actualy saving now to do an "R" project by getting a Mk 5 R32 motor and box, strip the car and rebuild it to be a pocket racer.

Similar to the Moffat Rx7 I co-own with the bro we pulled out the original port 13B rotor engine and replaced it with a 26B rotary engine exactly the same one used in the Mazda 787B Le Mans car.

So in 2 years time after warranty...the polo goes under the knife...permanently for beef project...stay tuned

ooo, now i have two projects to keep in mind. Zach on DS3UK is transplanting a Turbo-Diesel V6 from a Citroen C6 into his DS3 HDi. So now there are 2 V6 projects to keep up with.

    Answer this morning is:

We will be looking at this one in the near future. However, this is not high on our list of priorities and we have not yet started work on it.

Sorry for all those folk waiting for options but it'll be a while before Custom-Code release something.

Ohh it will be a damn tight fit - if its fits. Do you think you'll be able to shoehorn a R32 engine and gearbox into a much smaller Polo engine bay?

On another note, regarding DNA Tuning, ive just ordered a SRS-II hand controller and tune from John at DNA Tuning and will be remapping my Golf R later this week. I previously had a Stage 1 and Stage 2 Superchips Bluefin tune on the car so it will be good to feel the difference.
