That'd be great. Some honest communication from VGA would be a start. Better than people here who just want to stop discussion about problems and pretend they don't exist because they conflict with their world view.

On a side note, not wanting to fuel the fire any further, i noted that VW have started advertising the Polo on TV again, strange, when with all this sentiment here and the glaringly obvious lack of vehicles, they are advertising a car that they can't get......
Sorry let me rephrase it.
We dont know what allocation of cars we will get next month. Hence we can not tell you if you car will be allocated next month or not.
Sometimes VGA let us allocate cars twice a month as well.
Another thing, you can not blame your dealership, because some stock controllers (who allocate cars) only communicate with management and not with sales people. Hence, salespeople dont know when is what allocated.
VGA is trying really really hard to get as many cars to australia as they can. You cant see it, but we (dealers) can.
P.S. Both Polo comfotlines have been sold. Polo Gti is still available.
hi guys,
i joined recently as i found the info on here re delivery of my polo gti helpful; particularly the 'tracking' discussion on shipments.
however, ive not found much on when you ordered + the scheduled build week youve been given?
i ordered first week of december (and im pretty sure order was placed with the factory in second week of dec), my build week is week 25, but this is yet to be confirmed....
has anyone else who ordered the polo gti (with several options) in early dec got the same build week...earlier or later maybe?
cheers
I ordered mine on 4th December and it was built a few weeks ago and is sitting on the wharf waiting to ship (along with a few other members of this forum). If you haven't done so already, ask your dealer to send you a screen print of your order from their NADCON ordering system. You'll then be able to see what satus the car currently has, when it was actually ordered, etc. it will also show you what options for the car are ordered - a good idea to do this to make sure nothing has been missed.
Just a question into what we were having a chat about a couple pages before about the colour, if you wanted to change the colour of your order, would it still be possible to do that?
What's the cut off time? Anyone know?
