Cylinder 1&4 Misfire

#3 lead is pretty common. It shorts out on the hard fuel line. No, it won't cause a fire. The revised lead has a plastic sheath over it at one section.

#3 lead is pretty common. It shorts out on the hard fuel line. No, it won't cause a fire. The revised lead has a plastic sheath over it at one section.

I had No. 1 lead fail about 2 years ago and just had No.3 fail last week. New lead set has the additional sheaths.

I was able to drive the car in DSG manual mode with only 3 cylinders. Did not want to work in auto.
