Thread: CTHE engine? anyone know what to expect?

    Yes, true, which came with revised power and torque figures so that would be classified as different, would it not? It also came with a different engine code as I understand it which changed in the 2002 update.

    Not in this country it didnt
    The Audi A3 did though .
    Im pretty sure the engine code was AGU for all mk4 gti's

    all aus delivered mk4 gtis were AGU engines all 110kw

    On ETKA and 'indicated the release date for September 2012 and will be' mounted on the pole GTI 2013.

    Inherent in 'camshaft, valve adj. camshaft
    036 109 411 H - roller lever drag - 036 109 411 K

    03C 107 065 BL - complete piston - 03C CE 107 065

    inherent to the head cylinders that
    BC 103 475 03C 03C 103 475 cylinder head cover DC

    As I said, mostly internal changes.

    Interesting... ages away then for any Oz Polo GTI buyers.

    LOL, well cars made in Sept will be here by the end of the year and bear in mind the MY13 GTI model is starting production in June (not long away now!), but I hear what Gavs is saying, they may not get round to the CTHE dead on that date, so we may see these in Aus quite a bit later...

    Yes but good luck getting a rhd production run through for oz at the get go, there is reputation to uphold and do you really think a customer base the size of Australia wouldd warrant an early production run to try and gain back some credibility? Australia's yearly volume is comparable to be a month or two's worth of demand in Europe.
