What an awesome night! I got a few snaps but none were really any good. It's been a while since I've toyed with the camera - need to do some playing and pick it all back up again I think.

Here's a slow-ish exposure I was sort of happy with though - the lighting wasn't right to bring out all the pretty colours...

The suspention isn't slowing you down that much, it's more your wheels if anything.

Couldn't believe it, that last little stretch and I saw the tail lights ahead of me so I backed off a bit, then i came around a corner and BAM! there is was, doing all of about 10kph in a 60 zone because a corner had appeared up ahead.

    Bloody volvo driver.....

How was your Diesel. Did you keep up with Gavs?

No one could keep up with Gavs (if he really wanted to go for it), his car is insane. But yeah the diesel kept up with every one else. I have to say i was very impressed, very clean and punchy for a diesel.

What I find funny is after that entire run up and down the hills it said my fuel economy went up from 6.8 to 7.6 haha lol! I love my 1.2L, almost couldn't tell that we were going around the spur at 120km/h...except that bloody Volvo driver. In that case we were doing 12km/h

Haha the little Polo never ceases to amaze me, even the little 1.2 just flies and you never really expect the diesel to be able to do much but when you push it, it goes like mad.
Ok, it's obviously no match for a GTI, but still it's just so good.

The fuel economy is also something to behold. We easily average (and no one in my family tries to drive economically) around 5.5-6.2 l/100 km.
