Considering a TSI77

Its a great car..I love My Polo TSI. Hmmm bit concerned about this one running rough in the cold? I recently been in Munich for a holiday and rented the exact same Polo TSI as i have in australia and it was -10.....I had no issues whatsoever....that is interesting....i would be having a rather long winded chat with the dealership

Is only a slight bit rough idle when THE MOTOR is cold

Not when the temperature is cold.
Isnt really a worry.

Fair enough mate.... Thinking about it. I really dislike the fact that VW didn't put a engine temperature gauge in the car...sometimes i wonder when the car is actually warm or when its not!

The only way i a gauge it is that it is warm when i can get the fuel consumption to 0.6 L an hour at the traffic lights

Other option is to install a GTI tacho in your car. A lot of germans have done it even in Bluemotions. The oil temp will also work. You do need a VW dealer to recode the unit though, not something they are willing to do over here
