    Coilover compatibility

    Hey Guys,
    Was wondering if any of you know whether coilovers for earlier model polo's such as the 9n will fit on a 6r? Asking this as they are cheaper than 6r coilovers and have the same front axle load ratings.
    Thoughts?

    No, they won't an they also shouldn't have the same ratings because the 9n had a much heavier front end across the board. Just because the maximum axle ratings might be the same, the un-laden weight as well as spring rate, combined with damping control and the bigger wheel sizes fitted to the 6r are all different. Even if they did just bolt in, the ride would be terrible.
