    clock settings on new Polo

Have had a search for some information and read the manual but no luck so far on how to change the clock on a 2012 Polo Comfortline 1.2 TSI from 24 hr time back to 12 hr time. My daughter loves the new car but hates the clock. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it's in the MFD menu settings. Well, at least in the GTI there's an option to untick the 24 hour format.

I have the TDI comfortline and have been unable to change it - i asked the dealer who said he didnt know of a way - maybe check with the technicians when you take it in for its first service (or phone the service centre) they would probably know..good luck!

If not available through the MFD with the buttons on the right hand spoke of the steering wheel, then someone with a VCDS cable or the dealership can do it.

I had a quick look at my manual - sorry didn't have time to go through it thoroughly.

It mentioned that the 12/24 hour format can be changed by using the controls on the wiper controls to access the settings. It's on about page 21-25

Thanks guys, spoke to vw today, said they can change it by plugging in their cable and fixing it that way, some models can change by steering wheel controls but apparently not with this model.

Easy as. Press the button with the overlapping rectangles to select either the hours or minutes, then the "0.0/Set" button to change. Once you have the correct time, hit the rectangles again to set the time.
