    You'd have to ask yourself what mechanic would do that much work (which isn't part of the service) to find out there were all these deposits etc BEFORE asking the customer who may then refuse to go through with the cleaning job.

    It's therefore a con.

    By a bottle of Nulon Total Fuel System Cleaner & use as per instructions. it's <$20 & will clean the injectors as good as what the dealership will do.

    I'll make an assumption that you already use a brand name 98ron fuel?

    And if there is infact a carbon buildup issue after only 5,400km - then VW can kindly rectify the issue under warranty.

    Agreed.
    As far as the injectors are concerned, they shouldn't be suffering from carbon buildup, considering the type of fuel used and the low mileage.
