Polo Door Trim Removal? + Dynamat

    Hi everyone,

I have some rattles in the front and rear passenger side doors when listening to bass-y music in my Polo GTI. I have bought some Dynamat and thought I'd apply it. But a friend mentioned that it's apparently quite hard to get the door trim off without damaging it or any of the clips holding it, and that if one of the clips breaks the resulting rattle could be worse than the music-related one in the first place. Does anyone have any experience with removing the door trim and/or applying sound deadener in a MY2012.5 Polo (GTI)?

I have found this thread: How to remove interior trim to put more Dynamatt in the Polo?, but it refers to the previous Polo model, so I'm not sure if the clip positions/the tools mentioned would be the same for my car (see sig.)?

    Thanks guys!

I'm sure the trim will come off without damage - it's a matter of knowing how to remove it correctly

Do you have the Elsa workshop software? Or know somebody that has it?
