Lol thats gold!
Got a call from Chatswood and the car is fine they reset the computer and ran a diagnostic for error codes there was none that could be found, they inspected the car i asked if the aerial was fine to which his reply was "If it hit your aerial your car would of been f*cked mate and you would of had no antenna aswell".
So that would be logical as i was listening to a disc in the stacker!
No physical damage found on the car, all in all positive thinking has lead to a clean bill of health!

In all seriousness I would be less worried about the car and more worried about yourself and the occupants of the car you had at the time of the lightning strike.
As a sparky we are warned about the implications of an electric shock and the effect it can have on the body for a few days after the initial shock. (not trying to scare here... ) People have been known to drop dead from heart attacks days after having recieved an electric shock as the heart had gone out of rhythm and then eventually stopped.
hope it all goes well.

I seem to be ok, blood pressure is spot on, he told me not to worry which is what i will do
Will have to ask my passenger though >.<
