Yesterday I got my GTI back from the repairer after the roo damage and I'm not sure if the new bonnet is positioned correctly.
Can someone with a GTI possibly meet me for 10 mins in either Glenroy/Essendon/CBD so I can assess whether I need to sent it back to the repairer. I cannot remember exactly how the Bonnet was positioned and it looks like its hanging too far forward over the grills top red stripe. Not only this the gap between both new headlights is different.
Will throw you a $10er for fuel if anyone can assist me.
cheers

hmmm....bonnet might be ok looking at your image but I just checked the headlights again and both are definately not right.
The gap between the headlights and where? u got a pic and I'll try to get a similar angle.
From the top of headlights to bonnet and also where they wrap around to meet the front quarters. Bonnet is definately lower on drivers side
After the accident mine was in the GTI grille sits back further, see...

My spider sense tells me that it just hasn't been fitted right? When I take the bumper off to put the chrome trim on, imma see if I can fit it properly...
Yes this is exactly how it looks in the below link and I hate it. Plus the headlights are both positioned differently.
