Camber adjustment kit rearwheel polo

Had a wheel alignment done today . Mechanic said the rear wheels cannot be adjusted but the adjustment was out - left 2 mil toe out, right right mil toe in . He suggested I look into buying a camber adjustment kit. Is anyone looked into such a thing ?

So is it toe or camber that's wrong??

You could undo the axle and move that to improve the toe. Essentially all FWD VWs are the same.

sorry about the confusion it's actually toe in ? so you're saying it's not adjustable? sounds like I'm best to go to a specialist ?

No it's not. Is it scrubbing the tyres?

You can undo the axle mounts and shift it about. The overall toe can't change but you might get it better aligned straight ahead. If you look there's a massive thread about it.

TBH it's not worth bothering about unless the tyres are getting worn because of it.

Thanks Gavin. Not sure about the tire condition but there's 2mm of toe-in. I'll check the condition in a few months time.

As Gav said, moving the beam is the only real adjustment.
You can shim behind the stub axel to correct and adjust, but with such small measurements it'll be a night mare and probably cause more issues then it corrects.
I wouldn't stress, my rear beam is at least 3mm off centre from factory on my mk4 . Most are out, you just can't see it

I suppose I'm left wondering why did they not allow for adjustments in the rear axle
