I've only got a 1.2tsi, but I'm getting QFM HPX Pads and DBA T2 Discs, heard great things about both of them!
Currently stage 1, all four brakes are pretty run down now and looking for an upgrade but dont know where to begin searching?
anyone have any suggestions?
thanks!

Brake Pads for Polo GTI 6R
It's an old thread but it seems Remsa pads may be a good way to go.
I think I would be going for something that generates little to no dust like these
QFM CERAMIC PREMIUM LOW DUST DISC BRAKE PADS FOR PASSENGER VEHICLES | eBay
You would need to check if they are available for our model Polo and perhaps read a review or 2.

Hey OP,
I put one of these Tarox Sport Compact Kits on my Audi A1 and it's pretty epic I have to say -
http://www.tarox.co.uk/product/tarox...pact-kmvw0986/
323mm discs up front (your choice of design from the 4 they have). Super light 6 piston calipers. Your choice of colour (from their selection) on the calipers.
I got matching discs and new pads for the rear. Bit of a money sink really - the rear discs anyway. No size increase down the back, just wanted them to match.
Got some of their braided hoses too.
The guys are great to deal with if you flick them an email and get the ball rolling.
VAT comes off the price when they export, and, *ahem* the invoice on the box can be less than $1000 if you ask nicely
Not that I'd condone such things.
Even though I 'only' went for the street pads not the race pads it stops HARD now. Very satisfying and plenty of confidence.
(They will also sell you a 330mm 10 piston kit for the front, for twice the price..... which... is just... insane....)
It's a lot of money for brakes on a little car... but... it depends what you want out of it I suppose.
