PMM was the person who handled all the initial queries, test drive, negotiations, trade in, contract signing etc. I agree, he is top notch and a real asset to Paul Wakeling. He went on holidays a week after the contract was signed. The problems all started after he went on holidays. Now PMM is back at work, the issue appears to be resolved.
I am going to need to be very clear in my customer survey that PMM was great at all times and that the only relationship he had to my issue was that he solved it. He seemed genuinely mildly horrified when he rang me yesterday.
So I think it needs to be made clear to anyone reading this thread, that I would not hesitate to buy from this dealer again but only if PMM was handling it all (and not taking a well deserved holiday).
