    Bluetooth adapter

    Hi guys,

    2014 GTI...

I have been able to pair my iPhone with the head unit and I can listen to music and make phone calls via the HU but the phone is not paired with the Bluetooth adapter that's bolted to the dashboard next to the head unit.

Tried pairing with it to no avail.

    Anyone else have that problem?

You don't want it paired to the Adapter, trust me. Useless junk that rarely works (in your case not at all). My suggestion would be to have it coded out, remove the Bluetooth module from the mount and forget about it.

Yeah you can get phone cradles that sit in the dock the 'Bluetooth thingy' sits in.

Yeah, thats the general repair for these POS touch adapters. You will find 99% of your problems will be gone once used.

Only downside is when you upgrade phone you also need to upgrade adapter
