Was tinkering around in Manual Mode in stop start traffic on the Eastern, managed to replicate the HUGE smoke cloud!

Must've scared the tailgater behind me, left a lazy 1km gap after haha!

As others have said, fuel dump

Excuse my ignorance, but what is "fuel dump"?

It's not fuel dump, it's when the engine labors in too low a gear and pumps more fuel into the engine to try and accelerate more.

Sell the GTi and get a 9N3 Pacific TDi - although the 9N3's lack some of the refinement of the 6R, the 1.9 PD will drive off idle and are great for creeping about in traffic plus they don't have a DPF to clog up. They're great for us older, more sedate drivers.

Kaanage and sedate driver don't go in the same sentence my friend, I do recall seeing some recent photos at Philip island....

Seriously, given your comments, I'd have a look at a 9N3 Pacific TDi for interest if nothing else.

I think is the same we have here, I had this car for 8 years, done 250.000Kms without any problem and was really fast :
Mine actually was 9N, with 101hp, the next 9N3 had 130hp...
