Just wondering what was everyone's opinion on blow off valves for a 2015 Volkswagen Polo 1.2L 81TSI 6C. Reason i would purchase one would purely be for the sound, however, i was wondering if there were any risks involved? would it damage anything at all?

Forge is the only brand I know of that does a blow off valve kit for the 1.2 and 1.4 TSI engines: Blow Off Valve for Audi / VW / Skoda 1.2 and 1.4 TSI Engines 2015+ – AutoInstruct

Plenty of videos online demonstrating what they sound like.

Just bear in mind (seeing some of your other posts) that the 1.2TSI is not meant to be a performance engine, so with regards to tuning/exhausts etc, there isn't much available. A tune will give you around 10-15kw and 40nm which is decent, but its a very small turbo so they are physically limited with how much air they can flow.

As for exhausts, a catback from a Polo GTI of the same year will probably fit.

BTW, the chances of getting a defect on this is less than 0.01%. It is simply not that loud. I have 1 fitted to the 1.4TSI. Sounds awesome but you would literally have to be revving the car right next to a cop physically standing (not sitting in his car) next to you.

It is also plumbed back so it is recirculating (mostly).

And frankly, who cares if it is legal or not.
