The fitting took an hour - easy cable run, easy stick up and aim. Brilliant PC software with google maps GPS integration.
Anyone know how to update firmware?

Put SD card into holder and put in into a USB slot on computer
Go here and get SD formatter BlackVue - Full HD 1080p Dash Cameras with GPS
Then download firmware from here
BlackVue - Full HD 1080p Dash Cameras with GPS Get English vers 1.040 from 17042012
Follow intructions to install It pays to format the card every couple of months.
If you want to retain the files Install Blackvue app on your computer Then copy the RECORD folder off the card onto your HDD and you will be able to play what the camera has taken. You will have to change the path to the folder on the right hand side of the App above where it shows the files.
Usually shows say G:\ blackvue change to D:\ record or wherever you put it
When I was in the USA I dropped contents onto computer every night and so have the whole 3500miles still to look at.
PM me if having trouble I have installed ad run 5 of these in two versions
