    I did a test fit with a set of Momos at stock height and they had about 1-2mm poke.

    Not sure if the tyres would scrubs but is possible. But don't take my word on tyres. Isn't my strongest area with wheel fitment.

    exactly what mine is - on H&R 25/40 and yes they do rub a little if you hit a decent bump/hole but nothing i'm concerned about. i'm pretty sure it is only the front driver's side that rubs.

    i think +40 would be worse, and I wouldn't be going any lower than that at the front. If anything the back could come down another 10mm

    if you could find 18x7.5 +35 and 215/35 i think that would be ideal.

    It depends on where your getting the scrub..? i was under the impression that anyone running 8J +35 on the front was having fitment issues as it protrudes out the guard a little but there was still 5-10mm to the inner strut?

    If it's scrubbing on your fender then a +40 offset will move the wheel 5mm further in towards the strut.

    What size & profile tyres are you running on your 18x8J +35 ?

    Agreed...ET40 is a better offset for the 8inch rim on the front if you are lowering the car.

    What offset are your gram lights Atypic? Are you on lowered springs?

    Rays are 18x7.5 ET48 with 3 mm spacers...so ET45. Not ideal, but wheels are not flush by any stretch. I'm on H&R Monotubes with no rubbing. Changing wheels soon to eliminate any need for spacers.

    You mean +20... +40 is a weaker offset. Should be careful about giving people advise if you don't 100% know yourself.

    no, i mean 40...there is bugger all clearance with the strut as it is. move the wheel in any closer any it may start rubbing on it. i'd rather the tyre rub on the plactic guard lining than on the strut

    but now that you mention it, 20 would be worse too

    i'm guessing you don't have coilovers though? if you knew exactly where it's rubbing that'll really help me out lol

    Actually I just realised that you have H&R springs... with coilovers, you should find your self with a little more room on the inner wall
