    Aftermarket 17" Boavista Wheels

hi guys - does anyone know where I can get aftermarket 17" Boavista wheels for my Polo 6R?

I was going to get the sports pack, but there was nothing in stock and couldn't wait for one to be ordered.

I love the Boavista 5 spoke design and hopefully someone knows where I can get them from!

    thanks!

Alloy Wheels Direct over in the UK can get OEM wheels in from most manufactures and sell them for a decent price but the postage can cost a bit. The way I offset the postage cost was buying tyres to suit the rims. I picked up the rims for 380$ each and the Michelin Pilot Sport Exelto PE2 for 120$ either way its cheaper than getting them here but be prepared for extremely expensive postage cost. They are big and they are heavy...

in the end you save! - the stealership wants $628 just for a single rim without tyre

Its all a bit steep considering the cost of the sport pack is $1500, I'd say keep searching eBay for a pair maybe you'll get lucky.
    Shame you couldn't wait Bob.

there was a place on gumtree that sells them.... yeah shame you couldnt wait (i know what thats like though) as i bought a set for $600 then another $600 odd for tyres and then another $250 for the sport suspension, another $300 or so for the fog lights and we're getting to what the sport pack contained

If you're in need of any 6n1 parts, odds are that I am going to have them (dismantling 2 at the moment)

I've been scanning the web looking for a set of these wheels for the wife's car, they are very hard to get hold of. Not too many people want to part with them. They change the look of the car completely compared to the crappy 15" standard alloys on the TSI.

hey hey hey, dont diss the lakesides they're not THAT bad (but i only have 1 eye so im probably not the best person to ask ).

the link on gumtree has gone they were listed as "BRAND NEW 17" VW POLO BOA VISTA STYLE WHEELS Preston Darebin Area"

but I dare say there are a myriad of wheel places in preston so that does not help but IIRC they had listed a lot of knock offs so i would be looking for a place that mainly did that.. like a 'motorsport wheel and tyres' sort of place.

Go to a tyre place & get 4 wheel boxes that would otherwise be thrown out.

Send using e-go depot to depot. Should be <$50
