    After market intake

    Hey everyone
Lately I've been looking around for a aftermarket intake for my polo gti 6r, just wondering what everyone has gone with. Has anyone gone with the vwr intake for the polo? Saw a lot of threads regarding it's fuel trim issues but couldn't find anything regarding the polo (mostly just saw the R guy's feed backs regarding the fuel trim )

    Cheers duy

Do the intakes actually make any difference on these cars?

From what I've heard they're more just for sound (if that) more than anything...

I'm interested in hearing from people that have purchased one.

Used the Harding Performance intake, it made a noise change yes... But it made the car feel like it pulled a bit better at the higher RPM, and generally a better pickup of revs. Having a cooler intake up here in QLD helps. No fuel trim issues.

Using the HP intake here also, seems more responsive and a subtle noise change. Glad I didn't buy it new and got it secondhand honestly.
