Question Additional menu's in the instrumentation cluster??? GTI

    Hi Guys,

I would like to find out, if there are any additional 'secret' menus, that can be accessed, on the 6R GTI?
Usually it's a matter of holding down the 'down' button, press OK, etc etc, and you get into these menus......

    Without any OBD2 cables preferably....

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

there is the climatronic menu which reads data from the CANBUS

    Climatronic hidden menu - YouTube

    VWVortex.com - Climatronic diagnostic codes

then there is the RNS hidden menu

RNS 510 Secret Menu - YouTube

to access the MFD menu (I think)

    - Turned on Ignition (key half-way in, no engine running).
    - Pressed the (OK) button, the one under the wiper stalk, for 5 seconds and RELEASE.
    - Pressed the (DOWN) button at the end of the stalk for 5 seconds.

    Now the screen read:
    - MFD >
    - Setup >

At that point you can browse and select with UP, DOWN and OK.
The menu varies depending on options, but all options are noted in the MANUAL.

    Thanks great post!
If you do not have climatronic, then it's basically useless.....
It's unfortunately not an option in our market... Any workarounds ?

The best option is to buy a FIS+ module. You can have customized pages on the mfd from speed G force temps 0-100 times etc try auto-polar.com

And none of them are available in the 6R Polo.... Not only that, but all the buttons etc for menu control and selection are on the steering wheel.

Again, not viable or available for the Polo 6R, they do not know how to crack / will not attempt to crack into the Polo / Transporter CANBUS and diagnostics system due to it's complexity.

So 444YYY, to answer your question, no there are not any more menus other than what is already available in the MFD settings.

Confirmed. Unfortunately Auto-POlar FIS+ doesn't support Polo/Transporter with integrated CANbus gateway.
