Adding XFORCE VAREX Muffler to existing HP Exhaust

    Hi All,

Looking to reduce the noise of my exhaust while just driving around town (or around my neighborhood).

Is it feasible to add a XFORCE Varex muffler to my existing Harding Performance Full Exhaust?

It seems the HP exhaust has a diameter of 2.75" however the XFORCE mufflers only come in 2.5" or 3"...

Also the 2.5" model says not for turbo applications, so i gather that's out of the equation... The 3" says off-road or track use only, i'm assuming because of the noise levels in straight through mode...

Anyone have any ideas how i can maintain the existing exhaust performance when giving it a bootful, but quieten it down when cruising?

    Cheers,

    Josh

Assuming you do not already have one, suggest a small resonator might do the job without any loss of performance. Worked for my Milltek exhaust which was too loud without a resonator.

A performance exhaust fitter should have a full range of straight through type small resonators. The one I have is for 3" tube and the Milltek tube is 2.75". Can provide a photo, let me know.

    Cheers
