77TSI RCD310 to RCD510 upgrade questions

Had my My12.5 Polo77TSI for a week and have decided to upgrade the stereo and code out the touch adapter.

Have read through the forums and found how to code out the touch adapter.

My question is what other coding will need to be completed after the head unit is replaced? specifically concerned about the steering wheel controls and phone/contact controls on the new head unit.

Any pointers or comments would be appreciated.

Simply just plug and play.

when u buying it online just buy those one with a 4 digit code since u need that to activate the rcd510. steering wheel function is unaffected.
