6c gti Turbo Upgrade

Looking into doing an is20 or is38 swap on my polo. Ive found a clutch and decent diff but I'm unsure if the is38 would be too much for the little polo. I've owned a stage 3 golf gti and even with 245 Hancook rs3s and LSD it still spun 3rd a lot of the time.

Any body know how strong the 1.8 is compared to the 2.0? Fuelling? Or anything worth looking in to?

Also so looking for dyno graphs of the is38/is20 on a 1.8. All i I can find is a etuners article about them so more info would be awesome.
