Great job Mike oh and welcome!! I'm excited to see your progress on your beast!
Welcome aboard!
If anyone needs a hand taking off the antenna, just drop down the rear of the headlining and undo the bolt underneath. It comes right off.

Thanks Fastlane. Will keep everyone posted with the Polo vinyl wrap project.
Going to buy some H&R lowering springs to make the Trendline putter look more "tank".

Noice! I'm running those springs too! Love em, but I've heard coilovers are more comfortable if you can justify the 1k price tag!
Also might be stupid, but I'm planning on deleting the roof antenna all together. It just means the vinyl will have to cover the 3cm hole in the roof. Is vinyl 100% waterproof or does moisture tend to get underneath/through the wrap?
The vinyl will cover the hole against water, yes, but don't do it!
The film is only thin and you will definitely see the impression of the hole underneath.
Please don't do it. We don't even do it to cover holes on boot lids when someone wants to delete a boot spoiler.
Mike
Hot damn! Thanks for your honest opinion. Silly me rushed way too quick into that... didn't consider the indentation!
