Hi all,
Experiencing a crunch in the gearbox when i change up or down to 2nd when i give the car some grunt.
If i rev it over 3000-3500rpm and go from 1st to 2nd it crunches
If i try to shift down to 2nd and the car is revving over 2500rpm it crunches.
Are the clutches in the My13.5 77tsi hydraulic? and is there an adjustment option? or would we safely say the syncro is going.
I'm not harsh with the gears, been driving manual all my life and never had this happen before.
Car has done 48,000km.
Cheers

Nothing to do with the actuation of the clutch itself I'd say. Given that the 9N GTIs suffered lots of gearbox problems, I wonder if a change of fluid would help matters. Completely fixed the crunching in my own GTI.
