I thought everyone would get the manual.... Seems like most go for the dsg, or is this because of the mrs?

Lazy urbanised Aussies. They all talk about getting manuals until it comes time to place the order.

Not just Aussies , manuals are on their way out world wide across all makes . Main reason Aussies don't want manuals is because it's hard to change gear and drive and text at the same time ��

My wife has relatives in Austria & Germany - not an auto among them - not even the 75yo aunty. They are all semi-rural though.

If you're going MY15 be a hard arse with the dealers in terms of price, the sports suspension etc that is arriving on the MY16 would be at least $2,500 worth of extra goodies.

Case in point, Volkswagen North Shore in Sydney has 7 PoG's three with drl upgrade etc...still not sold and they're struggling to sell them.
