Cheers for that Hail! Yeah he printed out the dealership paper but I didn't take it.

He quoted me 36k for the MY16 and I told him that I only had 30k cash to spend. I also wanted to MY16 but he kept going on about VW Aus are not helping with the new MY16 and only the MY15s.

You shouldnt really be paying anymore than 29 flat for a MY16 manual so work the deal up from there with options ect.

Has anyone disabled Stop/Start on their MY16 using VCDS. Is it using the Temperature or Voltage method as detailed in the Golf Mk 7 threads or something totally different?

Manual or auto? I paid 31.5k driveaway for an MY16 DSG with DAP before it was even off the boat. My dealer was complaining about having difficulty shifting MY15 stock too. Have a ring around some of the Sydney dealers.

It was auto which is what I needed cause the wife doesn't understand that manual is better.

Thanks guys so I went to Denlo VW Parramatta on my lunch break which was meant to be 1hr and 2.5 hrs later we had a deal!

MY15 DSG DAP & Lux Pack in white 31k with trade in, to be quite honest it was better than Liverpool and Mascot put together. Also the dealer that I dealt with including the manager was actually really good and I was happy with it.

That's where I went. No other dealer would even match their price. Watch out if you're financing though. Their BM was a bit shifty.

They were asking me if I wanted finance I said no thanks this transaction is in cash lol.

Yeah I couldn't believe how much Barloworld Mascot was trying to stiff me, I was getting follow up calls which I just never answered. They gave me a better trade in price, DAP as well as the Lux pack that I wanted for cheaper and the whole experience was just so much better!

What price are people seeing MY15 gti's for now? Bought my fiance an MY15 dsg for $26k drive away brand new from a dealer.
