I'm still considering a new something next year and the Polo is a serious contender.... and with that sort of power potential it's looking better all the time :D

Reading a review tonight - the manual will have 320nm of torque while the DSG will be 250nm because of the power limit of the dsg...
From factory, yes it is limited to 250nm but it can be tuned up to 350 just as many tuning companies have done already with the current dq200.
Well I honestly believe the new GTI will be "the" small car to have ..... with a Stg1 tune the new Gen3 1.8 EA888 will be making the same power as the MK6 Golf GTI with a stage 1 tune (50NM more actually) and in a body that is ~200kg lighter. It will be an epic drive :)
Ours will be a 5 door manual ..... possibly silver, possibly red ..... (if red it will be named Baby Red) ....
Its funny actually, a year ago I said the Amarok (Big Red) likely to be my last VW, and now I'm already planning 2 more ...
155kw/300Nm, brembo brakes, LSD, upgraded seats, wider track front rear, lowered and upgrade suspension, retuned ESP and steering.

It is a little hypocritical to play the reliability card in a Polo thread.

Hey, let's not sully the 1.2t manuals. Seems it's just the useless DSG twincharge combo.
