Mi16, it will most likely be offloaded at Port Kembla. I know your pain. I can see the Southern Classic holding yard from my office window. I snuck in to introduce myself to mine when the drivers went back to the dock for the next lot. It arrived ahead of schedule and sat there for days before they moved it. And then it went missing for a couple of days having the body kit painted/fitted. And then it took another day for the lease company to redraw the contract with a new start date. A most painful wait.

    Collected mine today.

Must say, it's more fun in traffic than the DSG R is.

Suspension is certainly firm, but by no means uncomfortable.

    Loving the little go kart!

Did you notice much difference in ride quality between the two Sport Select settings for the suspension?

Mine's an MY 15 so you get what you gets as I understand. Compared to something like a WRX STI, it's soft!

Had my manual my15 Gti for a month now, still running it in so gotta take it easy, only done 500K's.

Wondering how what other manual owners think of the power?
I have only gone up to 4k rpm on slightly spirited driving but doesn't seem that powerful.
I read somewhere that max torque should be in that range, wondering if it feels faster after 4k rpm?

I only test drove the DSG on my test drive as no manuals were available and although it felt ok, the power felt like my former NA Clio Sport. Was expecting more of a turbo kick since this is a turbo. Since the manual has 70nm more torque, I was wondering if you can feel the turbo boost more? I was hoping the boost feeling would at least feel like a 200sx since the 200sx does a slower 0-100 of 6.9 sec I believe.

Could it also be that the car is new and engine would loosen up later?

    Thanks all.

I test drove a manual MY15 before placing the order for a MY16 and I didnt find the suspension too firm or uncomfortable either. It was certainly a lot of fun to drive.

It starts winding up after 4k and pulls like crazy to redline. Below that it feels like a nice little torquemobile

Edit: turn off the traction control with the button next to the stop /start. First and second gear will be usable then instead of robbed of power you'll feel a huge difference with it off
