    These rims look fantastic. Does anyone know what they are called?
    Might have to think about a set of these for my golf.

    Got a quote for $31,600 drive away for manual GTI with the $1700 pack. This price includes some corporate discount but no "squeezing" of the dealer applied yet

    BTW, the steering wheel is off-centre ..... meaning it's centre sits about 1.5cm to the left of the centre of the drivers seat Now that I know I may not be able to live with that as it will bug me every time I climb in.

    I am pretty sure the polo uses a different stud pattern to the golf.
    Polo is 5x100

    Didn't notice that when I looked at the car. Does it mean that your left hand will be more angled inwards than the right? Luckily it's not the pedals that are off-centered, some small cars in the past were a bit funny in their pedal locations

    Yes, the entire wheel sits a bit to the left of the centre of your body looking straight ahead. Not massively (only about 1.5cm) though and unlikely to be uncomfortable .... I hope.

    Not a great test drive today, positives good power, DSG smooth and no issues, no creaks or rattles, negatives exhaust note far too muted, no DSG farts, and ride very very firm particularly on B roads where it jiggled and bumped around uncomfortably (why oh why didn't they bring in the ACC option). Other negative for me is you can't option LED headlights without picking up for me the (unnecessary) expense of Roof and Pleather. So for me it doesn't get the tick (partic with the ? over the LT reliability of the 7spd DSG unit). I'll instead most likely be buying a Mazda3 SP25 GT, better value, more std inclusions, better LT reliability.

    Just push for a better price to compensate on the luxury pack cost..

    I was going for a base model manual but got offered a really good deal on a DSG model with Luxury Pack.. The reduction in torque and LT reliability is my only concerns.. But hey its under warranty.
