Thx, yea the springs are currently fitted with a 25mm drop front and 30mm rear (gonna measure exactly soon). Took the guys at autocraze a good 7hrs yesterday to change out the springs (due to the supplier of springs giving them the wrong springs and the variety of hex bolts vw uses to hold the shocks in).

Rides very comfortably, with zero rubbing at all. Wheels stick out of the guards around 1-2mm due to the double lip design of the 550s

Otherwise very happy with the look and great effort the guys put in to make things perfect!

    More photos up soon

Look good, wheels suit the car. Happy with the quality/finish of the wheels?

Thanks man, quality of wheels is pretty good but the finish could be better.. Say, the paint job done on the wheel face is great but the interior is very prone to scratches with what seems to be a very thin coat of paint.

My 527s should be fitted by the end of the week. Been searching for months for wheels that will fill the guards out better than VWs and of course look good/aggressive. I was prepared to pay a lot more but I found that most quality wheels eg Enkei look good only in low offsets and 9" + widths and looked crappy in the 8" and higher offsets needed for the Polo.

I figure if the finish is a problem I don't care and will just take them to a local powder coater and get them sand blasted and quality finished - quoted $80 ea only. That way I will also have the exact colour I really want.

    7hrs - I'd question their ability.

I'd never done a Polo before and it took the owner (of the Polo) and myself 4 hours working on my driveway & with a limited tool kit. The rears are ridiculously easy
