with the muffler delete i'd say its like 3x louder than stock and keeps all the same tones noises etc. it isnt making any extra pops or sounding real raspy or anything. its just the stock sounding exhaust but heaps louder, the DSG cracks are way louder.
i drove in and out of the city which included stop start, freeway and hilly country road cruising and experienced no drone. there might be a slight hint on medium throttle at 1900rpm but its gone at 2000.
the exterior noise with the windows down is a laugh, its stupid loud when youre on it. cruising around just sounds cool
anyway for $100 or less its something seriously worth considering before dropping crazy amounts of money on a catback for one of these things
