GoAuto.com.au says " More than 2700 Polo's has been called back by VW to fix potnential engine fault " 5 May 2015.
VW says that a pulley on the camshaft adjuster on the front of the single overhead camcould break, which in could affect the roller chain timing belt.
Read a statement on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission ( ACCC ) website.
