Is that driveaway?
The list price without any options, on-roads or dealer rip off is $18990, so you've done very well.

If there was no discounting the Driveaway price would be about $22K

Metallic Paint, Comfort Pack, Registration, CTP, Premium Plates, Dealer Delivery and Stamp Duty all incuded.

She did say it was actually a loss for them but when I got home I saw $18990 was the standard price so I wasn't sure. Didn't realise that's a list price without delivery etc. Looks like I did do okay.

White Polo TSI 77 DSG with Sports Pack and Comfort Pack. $23500. Got it from my ex colleague in Canberra but the price was matched from Chatswood and Hornsby

Are your plates listed separately on your quote? Premium plates should be included in the standard onroad costs. When I sent my quote off to my lease company they rejected it and told me to get the $99 charge for plates removed because it should be included. Only $99 but better in your pocket than VW's. Wish I had haggled for mats in mine. I went back 3 days later and paid through the nose.

For me, it is listed, but was included in the overall price so I didnt really mind.. Plus it says like "Drive away discount - $4379" so *shrug*.

will do tints and ipod cable myself. dealer wanted $600 for tints, any private person can do it for $200. Dealer wanted $180!!!!! for the ipod cable, got it from ebay $25 delivered.
