2010 Polo Drive Away Prices. Share what you ended up paying.

We bought a POLO 77TSI in DEC 2010 Held for 4 weeks till our money came available.

Bog standard DSG $24000 drive away. Only the shopping basket so didnt want all the fruit.

Took it down to Coffs from Brisbane At 100kph plus all the way it turned in 5.1L per 100km

Wife couldnt be more happy.

I have since bought a 125 TDI Passat wagon (In June) with ALL the fruit except adaptive chassis control All up $61000

A lovely car if somewhat expensive especially as they have since reduced the price of Satnav etc.

It is turning in 5.6L per 100km on trips around town and down to Gold Coast at the furtherest.

Hi everyone. By way of introduction, I have been a "silent member" of these forums for a long time. Since before I even ordered my polo, which was in March this year. I've been overseas in Canada for the last 4 months (still here) so haven't had time to keep up to date with Aussie Polo news. They don't even sell them here!

Anyway, I ordered my Polo GTI (white, 5 dr, xenons) for $34000 drive-away back in March. For those of you who haven't seen my other thread, my circumstances have changed and I may be looking to offload this car before its registered to me. It's due in February 2012. So if you or anyone you know might be interested, please drop me a pm!

On a separate note, I've been trying to catch up with a few of the threads and I've been reading some interesting information about VAG changing some of the specs of the GTI for MY2012. There's some conflicting information but from what I gather, the comfort/audio packs and even bluetooth? may be coming standard on future orders?

Does anyone have any definitive information on what exactly the changes are/will be? And when they came/come into effect?

I'll use this post to re-introduce myself, and share a bit of my story, currently I have a Golf MKV FSI with a few mods here and there, and now waiting on our new Polo, so, here is our drive away......

We bought a Polo 77TSI, I have to say, after of doing a lot of car shopping in the new and used market, this car offers (from our point of view) the best you can get related to the segment of the car ofcourse,

VW let us drive one of their 77TSI demos for a complete day, stock without packs, obviously the old OPH was the target, the drive is awesome!, in the corners and hills, the DSG recovers in a good way the rev's needed for the engine after strong braking or corners uphill, good stability fun and a bit of kart exparience on it, nice sound of the engine, no more noises inside of the cockpit, pocket rocket with heaps of possibilities for upgrades, we are very happy with the deal we got for it, and at the end of the day we came back to VW with a big smile and a YES!,

But?, what about the price?, who can give us the best deal?, well, here we go with the strong negociation, first drive away price was $32K on road, mmh! no really attractive isn't it?, we decided to walk away and quote in other dealership, then the sales guy told us "give me one more chance, I'm new and I don't know how much discount I can get" and he went to find the sales manager after them talking for about 10min, the mananger told us "If I give you my really best and last deal, will you sign now?, but there's a catch, there aren't cars in the stock and the next delivery will be until december" we looked eachother, she said ok, show me......and this was the deal,
