Just had my VW Polo TSI serviced by the lads at BMS Auto Haus in Darlinghurst, NSW. Did a great job. cost me $270 and I recommend them to anyone who needs a service. They used Liqui moly oil and factory filters!

Nice, what km service was it? I'm already looking around for quotes on the 30k service. Volkswagen dealers are quoting around $700 but obviously they're changing everything.
Southern Star Autohaus in the 'Shire says the initial service would be around $180 then whatever needs to be changed would add extra, think I'll try them out. He uses genuine Volksy parts to keep it under warranty.

Was the first service. I have only done 10,350 km's in a year. I really liked the service and they let you wander around and watch them do all the work too.

unsure if all vw dealers do it or just the one i bought from, but they have offered free top ups of engine oil

They are quoting $700 for a 15,000km service? That's about double what my first service with a dealer cost me.

Nah the 15k service was $300. They're quoting $700 for the 30k service.

    That's still OTT. There isn't $400 extra work - maybe $150-$200

I know, that's why I want to try a non-Volkswagen dealer to do it. I'm sure everything doesn't need replacing. I think I'll try Southern Star Autohaus and let you all know how it goes once its done.
