15 Polo GTI 1.8 TSI Brakes need replacing already?

    Hey Everyone

I picked up my GTI in August 2015 and have done 13,500k's since then. Ive seen the posts in relation to the brakes moving in the caliper whch is happening to me aswell in reverse although not recently. But now I get a loud squeal (if I can call it that) when reversing, note only if the wheel is turned. Anyone know about this?
I had an Focus RS before with the same issue from new turned out the pads were worn after 9000k's ( I drove that like a fugitive so fair enough)
Seems odd for a such a small car to wear the brakes out that quick

Sorry If there's already a thread for this.

    Cheers
    EJ

Volkswagen will only say to deglaze the brakes which FYI they will charge you for this.

Yes you were right, and I didnt have them deglazed. I can live with the squeal if it doesnt affect the car.
    Cheers
