    1.2TSI Brake Upgrade Recommendations

    Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster... The time has come for me to ask for some help

I'm planning on getting the ECU tune from John @ DNA, however i was wondering what brake upgrades could be recommended for my car?

I was thinking Brembo Max Discs. but what pads to suit?

Also what sort of stiffer suspension would be recommended?

    Cheers,

    Josh

Brembo discs are generally an OE replacement so of no better performance, other than stinging you for more cash so you can pay for the branding on the box.

Look into Hawk pads if you're after low dust and a bit better performance, I can reccomend the Remsa pads, once they have a bit of heat in them The QFM A1RM pads are one of teh best out there, they do need heat in them but they will wear a bit quicker and also chew through disc quicker also. EBC are also good.

Remember that being the smaller diameter, there are going to be less options available to you because as a rule of thumb, that diameter has only really been found on the generic model Mk4 golf and 9N series polo.

Stage 2+ Intercooler Carbon Intake Downpipe Swaybar DV+ Remsa.
